About EMP...

Energy Management Partners, LLC (EMP) is focused on creating a better world through the application of Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy technologies.

The technologies include our own kVAR Variable Energy Controller (KVEC) which conserves energy otherwise wasted by inductive motors, Zero Energy passive hot water generating units that produce free hot water, solar electric and solar thermal systems, wind systems, electric vehicle charging and an array of other technologies which reduce energy consumption or generate energy from renewable resources.

Energy Management Partners is constantly evaluating emerging technologies and creative applications of those technologies as a means of determining their effectiveness.  EMP works with inventors and producers to bring to market technologies that produce and save energy.  

EMP is bringing cutting-edge products to the market through a growing group of Dealers and Technical Representatives. Our Dealers abd Technical Representtatives are trained in the various technologies and are provided with the tools required to address the needs of corporate, municipal and industrial end users.


 


 
 


Management Team


Howard Boothroyd, Managing Partner
Howard Boothroyd founded and headed AlphaQuest, Inc. for 18 years, where he was responsible for client needs assessment and innovative technology implementations, in addition to managing a successful business.

Harry Levy, Managing Partner 
Harry Levy was a co-founder of The Men’s Wearhouse, one of North America’s largest men’s clothing retailers.  Harry spent 30 years running the technology at Men’s Wearhouse.  Subsequently, Harry founded Chelsea Market Systems, a software company developing products for use in retail stores.

Mr. Boothroyd and Mr. Levy have enjoyed a professional relationship which spans three decades.  During that period they planned and managed the launch of new technology and services in more than 500 facilities around the US, and developed support relationships with technical organizations in major and minor markets.

Bob Dunlap, Director of Channel Management

Mr. Dunlap has over a decade of experience in sales management in construction-related businesses, including dveloping sales training systems and materials, and over a decade in specialized retail store management.

Bill O’Brien, Director of Marketing Communications

 Mr. O’Brien was a communications and marketing consultant in NYC, Los Angeles and San Francisco for over thirty years, developing and implementing marketing communications programs and systems for a number of Fortune 500 companies as well as many smaller firms.

 Kevon Spire, Director of Technical Services

 Mr. Spire has been in the electrical industry for over three decades and is a licensed electrical contractor, with many years of experience in a/c systems. His skills and experience are key elements in the implementation of our KVEC and other energy technologies. In addition to providing tech service expertise to EMP’s dealers, Kevon oversees EMP’s manufacturing operations.
